A Wee Bit of Excitement: Pacey Gets a Lovely Review

I am thrilled to share that Pacey and the Secrets of the Masonic Caves has been reviewed by Wee Review and also featured in a local newspaper. What a joy it is to see this story connecting with readers. The review described it as an exciting mystery adventure that fires up the imagination, and I could not be happier.

When I first started writing about Pacey, my goal was to create a story that blended fun with just a bit of learning, the kind of book that keeps young readers turning the pages and maybe even makes them curious about the world around them. Set in Arbroath, Scotland, the story follows Pacey as she tries to avoid trouble but ends up drawn into another adventure filled with secrets, history, and of course, mysterious caves. It was so much fun to write, and even more rewarding to see it spark excitement in others.

In my day job, I work as a QHSE consultant and auditor in the oil and gas industry, which is quite different from writing children’s stories. I also enjoy playing golf and served as captain at Letham Grange Golf Club. Music is another big part of my life. I play guitar in a part-time band called Nameless, and over the years I have written more than sixty songs and produced two CDs to raise funds for Parkinson’s support.

I want to thank Wee Review for their kind words and everyone who has taken a chance on Pacey. Your encouragement and feedback truly mean everything. If you are looking for a fun and adventurous read for the children in your life, I would love for you to check out Pacey and the Secrets of the Masonic Caves.
